Biography
Margaret Brown (18 July 1867 – 26 October 1932) was an American socialite, philanthropist, and activist, best known for surviving the sinking of the ocean liner RMS Titanic on its maiden voyage. Often called “The Unsinkable Molly Brown,” she helped organize and lead fellow passengers to safety in the lifeboats and later advocated for Titanic survivors. Brown was also active in social reform, women’s rights, and charitable causes throughout her life.
