As Jonathan feels out of the loop and the tea run, he moves into the production office, distracting the writers with his noisy habits. But Jonathan's attempts at being nice gets on people's nerves and upsets them.

It's the TV Quick awards show, but Nancy will not pay for a table. Johnathan feels Nancy refusing to pay it the last straw, and quits. Episode 4, the explosion episode is coming up and that episode is the one they are aiming to beat EastEnders to in the Spectacular Scene of the Year award at the British Soap Awards. With no Jonathan for this crucial episode, Sam is left in charge.

No not really. But that's the crisis the team has to deal with when Jonathan pretends he has, in order to give the team a push. But then Jonathan is the one in for a shock when he learns his rumor may be true after all.

The team are forced to go to Cornwall and visit the set. Jonathan brings an actress along as his date, but Nancy warns him not to cast her in the show. Susie Amy also does not want a rival and resorts to black mailing Jonathan.

The sand riddle, has been leaked to the press, and Nancy is not happy. She decides to stick around, and keep an eye on things, which just leads to chaos. Especially when she suggest to the team, that they should kill Fin in the next episode.

With the show also being £100,000 over budget, Jonathan realises in order to get Series 2, he may have to fire one of the stars in order to stay on budget. Jonathan decides on getting rid of one of the three biggest stars. Jason, Martine or Hugo.
